"Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere." - Martin Luther King Jr.
An extension activity for Engageny.org. In "Letter from Birmingham Jail," Martin Luther King Jr. reminds us that "injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere." Throughout his letter he used several writing strategies, such as rhetorical devices, literary elements, and literary devices to persuade others to fight injustice in Birmingham. In this extension activity we will learn about injustice in present day and write persuasive letters against those injustices.
